Exactly...I saw him at Bourbon Street North a couple of years ago and I told him that I would love to see him play for the Habs and he anwered by saying "Me too". See, those types of players are not afraid or reluctant to play in MTL due to pressure or the media because they know that we want is 100% effort every night and the wins will come .

Barney is a first class jerk, but only if he's on the other team!!!!

Limey, do you actually think that Downey deserves a spot on this team? I think he's a goon with no talent at all. I'm sure that we can do better than him. Murray is a better player than Downey.

Well, to be honest, I'm not impressed by niether player. There is only place for one of these two guys on the team on a given night. I would choose Murray without question. Ya, Barney reminds me of Ken Linesman with the Bad Bruins of old.

Yeah, Murray and Downey are kind of the same player. Big, slow and for the most part useless. Murray does have some potential upside though.

If the guy doesn't drop his gloves than I say stick with Murray! More talent! If Downey is there for effect than call up Ivanans instead. At least the guy will drop him!

Also, Barnaby has a history of irritating his own team. Do we really need more of that?
I like Murray and Downey right now. When is Murray supposed to be back?

As much as I hate Barney, we certainly could use some of his feistiness. Him and Begin on a line would be a great Pest line that teams would hate to play against.

i have seen barnaby play lately, and he is not the same he was when he was that feisty guy going around the rink, looking for something to thrash. He is just not the same. He has slowed down a lot and it would just be another dumb acquisition.
