Just a little fun here.  Do any of you have a "good luck charm" that you are willing to donate in a care package for our guys....you know, something you might wear when you're playing a game yourself or watching the Habs play?

Back in 74, someone knitted me a Canadiens afghan. It is about 4 by 6feet. Its red white and blue with the CH in the middle. I truly think its one of a kind. Maybe Nic can post it some time.  When I was young, I would make sure it was spread out on my bed for each game. Hey they won a cup in every season I would leave it out on the bed. It has been stored since 93. I know now Nild will post that its been my fault we have not won because its been packed away all these years. Well the team sucks so much this year that if I put it out and we do not win I will be depressed. I want to stay undefeated

That's cheating, david - only pulling out the good luck charm after the good luck has already happened!


You know, when I was a wee laddie (maybe 8 or 9), my mother knitted me a pair of hockey socks - red with the Habs' white and blue stripes on them.  There's a picture of me wearing them somewhere in the old homestead.
