Well, now that Canada, USA, Switzerland and Slovakia 'left' the tournement, the following 4 teams meet tomorrow:


Sweden - Czech Republic    16.30h CET


Finland - Russia                  21.30h CET


Which final would you like to see? For me, it should be either Finland - Czech or Russia - Czech. The winner of the Finland-Russia semifinal should than win the Olympic games. They would deserve it most. From myside, I still like to watch these games, but my interest somehow lowered since Switzerland and Canada won't be there to fight for the medals.

I don't know why, but I think it would be absolutelty bizarre to see Finland & Sweden.  So that is my prediction Finland against Sweden, and Sweden winning.

My fears are Final Sweden - Russia -> winner Sweden and Bronze goes Czech


My hopes are Final Finland - Czech -> winner Finland surprise surprise and Bronze goes Russia

Finland vs Russia - WInner goes on to win the gold loser wins the bronze. Slight edge to Finland


Sweden vs Czech - Sweden wins and Czechs wish they could have chosed Radek Bonk ...  ya right. Czech will crush the Swedes.


Finland or Russia vs Czech - Finland/Russia will cream the czechs in a boring (one sided) gold medal game


Sweden vs Russia/ Finland - Russia/Finland takes the game easily the Swedes get nothing and are embarssed.

Sorry Power.  It's just that Sweden has found a way to stub it's toe and fall flat on their faces in the Olympics, and I just think this year, they will just put it all together.  With the talk of Sweden's coach saying it would be better to lose to the Slovaks, I really hope it doesn't happen.  So, I'm rooting for others, but, that's way I think it will happen.

Well .... 6-3 after two periods .... The Swedes are doing more or less what they did to the Swiss ... Gonna be hard for the Rangers to beat the Red Wings ...

C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S !!!!! TO THE FINNS!!! Great game, well played! I found it interesting, they were well prepared, and shut down the Russian firepower. Very much deserved, the Finns now HAVE to win this championship!!! Imagine, 7 games, ALL won, and FIVE (5) shutouts!!!

Smart game...like Saks said post game, when you don't have the talent to match, you have to stick to a defensive game plan!

Effective but boring as heck!
