I am off to Korea... hope to be back to my usual 2-3 weekly posts (wow!) by next week or the week after.

P.S.  Here is where I am going... the school I am teaching at is the white building in the NW corner and my backyard is the mountains, so I get to work on my yodelling!

For whatever reason I can't get the pic to appear... copied it to windows and then pasted it here, but it gives me a big blank screen... ah well.  Maybe someoen can give me some insight and I can post another time?  Thanks.

Hey, have a great time

my niece is half Korean, and her family are always telling me about the great things to be seen there. Be sure to check out the DMZ, I hear it's a trip

For your image: Go to http://imageshack.us/ and hit the "browse" button.

when you find the picture on your computer, hit ok, then hit the "host it" button on imageshack's screen...

wait a second for it to upload, and when the screen refreshes, copy the url next to "direct link to image"


come here, start a new post, then hit the IMG button, then paste in the url you copied and hit OK. Another window will pop up to ask you for some text to describe your image. Put in something like "FANTASTIC KOREAN MOUNTAIN HIDEAWAY" and hit OK, and voila!, you're all done!

Hope that wasn't written in a confusing way...

make your way to a computer there, and let us know how it's all going

I am in the mountains... only a little more remote than I wanted, but it should be good with a town not too far away that I can visit on the weekends.

Yup! The place was designed and I think that was part of the idea. The other big motif is Disney and other classic cartoon creatures... they really like cutesy stuff. My window has a huge stick-on of Donald and Daisy Duck drinking a shake together. lol
