The skinny on this game is this: the loser goes home.

Laff is right, Chris (you can call me Jean, easier to type!).


McCabe's done nada for this tournament, so far.


I'd like to see Blake step it up a bit too. These Russians are gonna come out flyin' and they'll be hunting for a really fast first goal.

McCabe was a terrible choice.  He is a terrible skater and extremely one-dimensional?  Frankly I'm not really impressed with anyone on Team Canada.  Has anyone noticed at least one player out there hustling and giving it everything they have?


Just a few of my opinions...


Iginla - invisible, as he has been this whole NHL season


Pronger - playing terrible, totally immobile and it shows


St. Louis - one garbage goal,  nothing else just like his season


And there is a lot more where that came from.

The hitting is so tough now cause they're calling everything. I've seen some clean checks, and a whistle goes and a minor is served.


I was sayin' that Kovalev's gonna get one today, I can feel it. Marty better have his sunblock on, cause when Alex lets on fly, he'll just be standin' there with a sunburn when it goes by him..


Canada better get it together and fast. Russia are for real.

I was actually impressed with Nash....I just am. Maybe the diggin' in front of the net stuff or somethin'. The guy's good. But where the hell is everybody?


They pulled that win off pretty darn close yesterday.

I have been giving it some sober thought and I am now going to change my prediction on the Russia game..as much as I hate to say so I say Russia in a 6-2 blowout. They have just too much firepower and Canada has an assembly of pylons out there on defence. That Kovalchyk line will make McCabe look like a statue. What that idiot is doing on our team I have no idea..oh ya..Pat Quinn
