Names of Goalies who could possibly relpace Jose Theodore

I could throw out some names, and you guys could split hairs on the contracts and the money involved, but the time is approaching, soon I might add, when Theodore will be couriered outta town.

Who do you feel could be a viable replacement as our new starter?

Let's drop some names people.

Jean- hate to burst your bubble..the 2 names are Huet and Danis. 5 million tied up in cap space for the Hair product who will be back. You do not go spend more on another goalie. Economics 101

I really don't think Gainey's going to trade for a goalie...

But in the unlikely event that he does, I only see one name coming to Montreal:

He could always change his name to Ryan Noir.  His GAA is the same as Theo's............

Remove the "R" ... Yan Noir sounds more intimidating

You are in the "what have you done for me lately" state of mind. Cloutier has NEVER performed well in the playoffs, and he has had really good teams infront of him. And he takes dumb penalties.

Theo is going through a rough stage, he will be out of it.

Actually, I saw Jose Theodore have a truley great playoff run in Hull quite a few years ago.

Not much since for me......"bandwagon"?

You know what?

Jay, you're right, I am in the "What have you done for me lately" state of mind with Theodore.

I've spent literally, thousands of dollars on travel, tickets and accomodations to the games. Most of the games that I've seen him play ended up as brutal loses - mostly preventable on his part. I'm lucky to be going to the Toronto vs. Habs March 25th game to see Huet play net. This guy can get the job done temporarly. I have way more faith in him right now than Throughthedoor.

I've put up with his glove hand barley moving after a shot taken from the hash marks by f**kin' Wade Belak (this alone....)

I've seen him waste away games by just not doing anything at all, except leave alot of Montreal Fans wondering "Why do we pay this plug so much dough, and he doesn't seem to care about the team at all.."

The team has stood by him through serious family issues, disgusting playoff performances and to me, it seems as though his backups always come out shining instead of him.

Habs/Boston 2001 is along time ago to me and a second round just isn't good enough.

Thanks for the half assed goaltending, Theo.

Time to go goalie shopping.

When we do get another goalie, it'll be the same song and dance no matter who it is. Might not be that way in the begining, but as time wears on. The fans will think the same thing about whatever new goalie we do get.
