"Boivin deserves a slap on the wrist for this. He didn't do his job. People in Montreal will forgive and forget a lot of things if he starts winning games. To get out of all this hustle and bustle, Jose needs to start making saves and help the Canadiens win. When he does that, things will start turning around." - Patrick Roy

Jose can become "the second coming" on another team as far as I'm concerned...and he will.

Patty knows Jose's on his way form Montreal.

Boivin can't stop pucks and I think they gave Theo ample opportunity to play himself out of his slump!

Bang on, AB.  He has been less than terrible in his starts.  We can't trade him so we are stuck with him and his contract.  Doesn't matter to me if he sits on the bench.  Huet for the rest of the season!!!!

I agree fully, AB.  What does Boivin have to do with Jose's lousy performance?  I don't know what Roy's up to with that comment.

I have to admit that yes, Theo has been given plenty chance to get out of his funk. And you cannot blame the team infront of him for it all because Huet to what i have seen has been playing behind the same team that theo has and yet posts great numbers. It DEFINATELY has something to do with THEO. Confidence maybe? who knows, but whatever it is needs to be FIXED PRONTO!

Have you noticed how the team plays in front of Huet being different than for Theo?  With Huet it seems they are willing to take some more chances because they are confident he will make the save.

With Theo in net they play tentative and hang back from the forecheck and end up getting hemmed in their own zone.  Not good with their less than stellar team defense in their own zone.  It looks as though they are affraid to make mistakes resulting in what appears as a lack of effort.  Granted often it was but this is just something to think about.

THEODORE WANTS OUT OF MONTREAL. THEODORE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE CANADIENS AND THEODORE IS WILLING TO SIT UNTIL HE SPLITS.

Says Theodores play in the past eight weeks.

Do you really beleive this guy is having a bad rut in his playing and concentration?

Sorry, he's packin' his bags-and NOT fast enough for me.

Interesting my friend! I respect those that have balls to make a prediction!

Do you think it's reality? I mean how do you move an underachieving high contract like that? We may have to eat part of it!

Yeah I do. No one throws games that bad. And if he were to do that, he'd know no one would want to pick him up cause he wouldn't be worth ****. Wouldn't be able to move to a different team, and wouldn't be offered big bucks to play. I'm not going into detail with all the problems he's facing because it would take an hour, I'll give you a brief list. I'd also like to note that Theodore, like all the other Habs, are HUMAN, therefore are not at the top of their game 100% of the time.

Let me run down the list of Theo's problems:
Neighbor problems involving land lawsuits.
Relationship problems
His own family's problems
His GF's family problems
Hair Problems
Terrible play when in game
Drug scandal
The list goes on.....

Do you really believe what you are saying? Or are you saying this from an angry fan's POV.

I'm not defending him, I just think people should stop shooting around wild accusations without proof.

If Theo becomes property of another team, it won't be during season. It'll be in the off-season. I'm a BG supporter...I admit that I'm biased when it comes to BG. I had an illness not too long ago and I got professional advise that I should "Trust my doctor". As soon as i did that, I began to benefit from the rehab. I trust Gianey because he's the one who can call the shots not me.

I think BG perparing for an eventual Theo departure but not until be gains value.

Jean, so you totally lost hope in Theo. Aren't you wondering if he'll bounce back after the Olympics? Or do you think he can't play at a high level anymore in the NHL and we should no waste any more time on keeping him here?

KL,

Montreal scouts have been attending Avs game on a regular basis for the past 6 or so weeks. I'm not sure why, but I have my thoughts.

Theodore is done in Montreal. DONE. Those of you who have been hoping to see Jose "bounce back" are waiting for a deflated ball to sunddenly expand back to it's original size with this guy. It's over in my opinion, even if he has a chance to get a few decent games in, I feel he's finished here....what I will say is, that when a club does pick him up, he'll have another good run, but as far as the Habs are concerned, there's the door and his name's on the knob.

Thank you, Theo-for 2001 and the hopes we had in you. Your time here is done.

We won't forget you.

Theodore needs to hang around in MTL as when they make the playofffs he will come up big as he will have a lot to prove be it if he starts or he backs up HUET....by the way lets hear some goalies MTL can possibly get and play in MTL.

I didn't sluff you off my friend. I gave you credit for having the balls to predict that trade. I was hoping also for him to be gone but I didn't think his contract could be dumped!

 You deserve credit. Good prediction!

I did know through a few folks that the Colorado scouting staff kept showing up to the games in Denver.

They kept tabulating stuff on Dave. Over and over again.

It was obvious to me....here's the other one................

Theo NEVER broke his foot. He's fine and they know it. He'll play on a desiganted date for post-season play.

Guaranteed.

Jean, to tell the truth, I often thought the whole "foot thing" was a ruse so Gainey could get him out of the way, get his guy (Huet) in net.  Maybe not to trade but to at least have a reason to keep him out of goal.
