another (harmless really) question for And-o

Just curious:

Theo and Koivu are obviously disappointments. You were never into Ribeiro all that much. I remember you spending a lot of time complaining about Rivet. You've gone cold on Bonk (who wouldn't?) and Komisarek. You're off Zednik. Ryder is too one-dimensional. You didn't like CJ, but you also don't like Gainey. I'm just curious, for the future, so I have something to work with during the great debates on this forum, who do you support, so I can pin you down in some way? Souray maybe?

Nice try, plouf, but sadly And-o doesn't answer that type of question.

Pft. Hey.

Maybe the flattery approach next?

Bob Gainey is And-o's childhood hero...from his hometown...met Bob - nice man - class act!

Higgins is And-o's fav

And-o digs Souray...And-o thinks Bulis could be a star...loves Begin (when he avoids the box).

Huet is fast becoming EVERYONE'S favorite.

Bonk is...and will be a good guy on the 3rd and 4th lines...I had hoped for more...but I think he is proving capable (if Bob keeps him accountable).

But will And-o agree that Salu Koivu has been the Habs' best forward this year?  A simply Yes or No will suffice.

And I won't ask again.

Good, straight-up post. Finally know where you're coming from, sort of.

I know that this post is all about Ando, but I gotta say that my fav Hab this year has been Markov. Consistent performer, great skater, great passer, great vision. Komi has a renewed confidence knowing that Markov is a rock.

I also dig the Cube. Although I kinda like Souray, he likes to get turned inside out.

Plecs and Higgins are core members of the Habs. So is Begin (despite the more-than-occasional brain cramp). Bulis has been playing great.

Thank you, salted-one.  And let me add for the record that Dr.  Spock was the famed pediatrician, whereas Mr. Spock was Captain Kirk's sidekick.  They played together on a line centered by Anton Checkov.  Bones McCoy and  Monty Scott were the D-men.

I believe that was "Ensign" Checkov, wasn't it?

Right you are.  His rank was ensign, his first name was Pavel.  Anton is the famous writer, who never made it to the NHL.

Live long and prosper.

He is using the "Jimmy"episode from Seinfeld. The guy who liked Elaine use to always use his name in the 3rd person."Jimmy really likes you(Elaine)"

I loved that episode.  "Don't touch Jimmy!  Hands off Jimmy!!"  That was also the one where Kramer was at the dentist and was all frozen up, and Mel Torme - the Golden Fog - thought he was mentally challenged (well........).  It was a great episode!  I'm a huge Seinfeld fan.
