If things get tight for a playoff spot, it is not getting easier. Look at April (last 9 games) Boston twice, Ottawa three times, NJ twice, Buffalo twice That a tough schedule wow
But these teams (Boston, Buffalo, New Jersay) are the ones we have to beat to make the playoffs, so playing them late in the year is a good thing. It puts the power in our hands.

I'm with you, Brooklynhab. I don't care who makes what, who is average or not, who the skills players are, or whether my favorite goalie has the best GAA and save percentage in the league. I do care if I see some determination and hard skating and checking. Do I like winning? Sure. But I like good hockey even more!
Sometimes playing teams that are a lock for a play-off spot is good news, cause they rest their players and they really don't need to win if the seeding is set. Plus we want to play Boston cause we are going to be fighting them for that final spot and we control our destiny.
