We got 7 out of a possible 10 points in the last 5 games.

Win against TO

Loss against BOS

Win against BOS

Win against PHI

OT against BUF

Things are looking up boys and girls. Let's stop the bashing and let's get behind the team.

GO HABS GO!

We bash the team because we think they owe us something. We sell out the Bell Center at every home game even during periods where the team looks like an AHL team. In the end they don't deserved to be bashed as badly as we do. However, these forums are great to critique the team. Some of us fo too far sometimes.

You are right Johnny boy. Rome was not built in a day. 2 points tonite would go a very long way to keep us on track. As far as the bashing,. from my perspective I have not problem with losing if we are trying our best. but when I see millionaires like Kovalev and Zednick going through the motions and others making dumb mistakes when they know better, They need to be called out. To these guys I say show some pride in the uniform boys. Every man and woman on this board would give their right arm to wear that sweater for one night.

But every man or woman on the board can't wear the CH cause we just aren't good enough. We don't know what it's like to play at a million miles an hour and get hit into another hemosphere. We don't know what it's like to play with injuries, pressure, etc.... so let's take a step back with the bashing and enjoy the effort the boys have had over the last couple and hope for the same effort tonight.

There was a Guiness-fueled incident in an unfamiliar stairwell once that came close.... hurts to think about it...

Perhaps not..but I expect that my boss' expectations to be raised a bit whan I start earning 4.5 million. Problem is that some of these guys have forgotten that it is a PRIVILEGE to do what they do..not a right.

Well put, Barry.  I know that I get impatient when I relaize that another season is slipping by and that I am not going to see the ressurection of the Habs of '65-'79.  But in today's environment that is never going to happen.  So, I watch the so-called "average" talent, enjoy those moments when they may be playing above their ability, rag on the loafers, and in short - behave like a typical fan.

And well put, Trapper!

If we'weren't behaving like typical fans, it would get pretty boring around here.
