I was ready to give up on this guy, but I thought he played a great game today.  He hit when necessary, was good at getting the puck out of the defensive zone, and actually spent a bit of time uncharacteristically buzzing around in the offensive zone!

I note he was named the game's third star.  Good for him!  Maybe he's not a lost cause yet.

I agree with you 100%.  I always had hope for this guy, a big strong D man, and when he was drafted, i got pretty excited.  I think he's gonna adjust to the new NHL, but he will take time, so lets not give up on him, he's still young so be patient and he will come around...

At least they're playing him. For the longest time I've often wondered why we never played our newly aquired drafts when all the other teams seem to do just the opposite by bringing them up right away and finding awesome tallent. I must admit that this year they are making a liar out of me, but that's ok, I can take it.

But seriuosly, why is that other teams go for it, and we don't??

Lets not forget about Cote, he's another guy i think if we let him finish down with Hamilton this year, and we could call him up and he could be a regular D...forget Streit..i don't want to see him in the lineup no more.

Agreed on Cote. He's playing very well -- tough in front and an asset on the point. Streit should never be played ahead of this kid. He's a keeper.

I'm all for Cote and everything. He's been grace under pressure. But he's pretty freakin' raw. He's years away from even being the Rivet of three seasons ago to my mind.
As for Komisarek, he's the kind of guy who will develop slowly, but he's definitely got that something in there. Just a question of how badly he wants to bring it.

I really myself wouldn't take issue with his play he's had a tough season losing his Mom and all.A tough thing at his young age.Hopefully he can improve and become a great d-man in the near future.

Too many times the Habs gave up on young stars because they were making too many mistakes or developing "too slowly". This trend needs to be stopped and NOW. Komisarek will be a star dman in the league one day in the same moud as a Kevin Hatcher or Chelios (and yes I am SOBER )

I listed him as one of my 3 fav Habs back when that question was asked and I haven't changed my answer.  This guy is going to be Pronger jr., but like Pronger, he will be slow in development, but that's OK.  Give him time and he will be on our top pairing.
