GO HABS GO!!! Even though the Flyers were without alot of their top players, the Habs played a full 60 minutes. Let's keep the momentum going...
For sure that was a tired and hurt Flyers team as McGuire reminded us many times. BUT, at LEAST the Habs went for thr throat and showed some killer instinct recognizing that. A good 60 minute effort and something to build on.

Have to agree; this was the first game I've seen this year where the team played with intensity for the entire 60 minutes.
Good to see, even against an AHL lineup.

no disrespect to CJ as i don't believe it was necessarily a reflection on him, but under bob at least last game was the first time we actaully went for the throat instead of going into a shell and then clinging to a lead. we need to push and push for 60 minutes every game. if we keep getting solid goaltending from either theo(???) or huet, the results will be in our favour more times then not

Well if you recall, there were times EARLY in the season where this team did that for CJ. And even during the last days of the CJ reign we had wins that had us all coming in here the next day and saying "Finally looks like we have turned the corner"!, only to have them stink the place out the next day. What we need is this type of play night after night on a consistent basis. That is what used to make CJ pull the bit if hair out that he had. Everytime he would have a game where he would say "There now. We are on track". They would just go back to their old habits.
The good thing is..that they are at least more likely to stay on track with the fear of the GM behind the bench.

Geeeeeeesh I hope that John's prediction of 5 in a row does not come true..in that case then my prediction of Rita McNeil on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue..ok..lets NOT even go there!
