With the Habs in a race for the final playoff spot, the other teams won't let up. TO, ATL and TB all winning tonight. Therefore, it's up to the Habs to fix their own problems and win games. Huet won't be able to win every game for us so it's up to the rest of the team to win it for us tomorrow.

We are 3 point back of a playoff spot. How sad would it be to have TO beat us out of the last playoff spot after the way this season began.

Let's go Kovy, Koivu, Souray, Rivet, Bonk and the rest of the high paid players on this team. It's up to you to bring us to the promise land.

GO HABS GO!!!

It's nice to see a post that realizes that we can do this without lopsided trades or hasty firings.

We're not Pittsburgh bad, we just have a crap attitude. Personally, mine got slapped out of me at 8 when I chose the wrong older guy to mouth off to. Maybe Bob can crack his wax and bear down a little too..

i dont think the fact that gainey is switching around the lines practically EVERY shift to be helping any....If they are going to be a line...they need chemistry...and mixing them around during the game doesnt help. I know hes trying to find some offense, but thats what practices are for!

We certainly have a longgggggggggggggggggggggggggggg way to go. The fact that we can even SEE a playoff spot without the aid of a telescope right now is only a testimant to hopw weak the bottom teams are in the Eastern Conference this year. Toronto won a HUGE game over Jersey of all teams last night and are starting to get bodies back. Even during a win yesterday I saw the same tendencies that have killed us to date. Lazy penalties, not picking up your man, and a 26th ranked penalty kill that was bailed out by Huet time and again. John, you are exactly right. Our high paid players need to get it going. I will be VERY interested to watch the performances of Koivu and Kovalev at the Olympics. Something tells me they will be "Revitalized". If that is the case, that should tell us alot about where their heads and effort level have been in a habs uni.
