"Who est" le Numero Un?

Cristobal Huet has now played two very good games followed by two superlative ones.  It should be a no-brainer for the coach.  Leave him in until he screws up.  Theo can spend the extra time off the ice to pamper his hair.

Agreed?

To be more precise, Theo makes just under $55 000 PER GAME!!!! That im sure is more than what most of us here make in an entire year.

Yeah I hear ya Johab, but think about it, we're geting more out of it with him sitting than playing.

It could be worse imagine having Tzachuk of St Louis on your team who is in the top 3 of salaries in the NHL - He comes to training camp over weight and gets suspended but did you see him this week in overtime against Chicago ? He has a clear cut break away to win the game and blows the shot completely with no shot taken and over skates the puck and then later in the shoot out his team mate (don't know his name but his feeble attempt will be shown for years in blopper tapes) trips/stumbles and falls down while trying to deke the ChiHawk goalie and obiviously gets no shot off - I bet Pronger/Weight are glad to be out of that mess of a franchise.......

I agree Nil.....with no disrespect intended to Theo....we gotta go with what works.  Please explain the "hair" thing.

I totally agree Nil. I think in the end Theo has to still be considered #1 and all this time off right now is basically for him to work on his game and come back when he is ready.

And the thing with goalies this day and age is that many playing professional hcokey around the world could possibly be great in the NHL (IE Tim Thomas for Boston). But I think people are forgetting that the real measure of the man is playing at that level season in season out. Clearly Theo hasn't done that this year but he has proven that he CAN. Realistically he has to be considered the #1 regarless of what has transpired this season.
