Going out on a big limb here (closer to jumping off a building) but I am willing to say the Habs will win the next 5 games going into the Olympic break.

Sorry the prediction didn't come true guys and gals. We only got 8 out of 10 points. So close with the Ryder goal being disallowed and last nights shootout...


And-o you were there with me, even with my Saku Goggles on. Now maybe you will wear them too, for another 3 years.


At least we are in 8th spot all by ourselves for now...

it may not be a 5 game winning streak but it IS a 5 game unbeaten in regulation time streak 3-0-1-1, Cant complain!


So, how about that 16-0 beating our womens team handed italy yesterday? Ouch!

I heard that only about 300 females play hockey in Italy - If not for being host country I doubt if they would have put in a women's hockey team (I am not aware if they compete in World Championships) - It will be interesting to see if Italy will send a team in 2010 to Vancouver possibly the last time they will have Womens' Hockey at The Olympics if at that time there are still only two competive teams(Canada/USA) and other countries have not caught up to them by winning at least a few games against the top two teams in the next 4 - 5 years - making The Olympic Women Hockey a bit more of a competive hockey tournament which it should be........
