A very cool thing from Tuesday's game, on RDS they had some kids who, if I understand the press release, have cancer, and they interviewed them during the game, and allowed the kids to CALL the game. Imagine the darkness in your life, with battling cancer at such a young age (or any age) and getting the opportunity to see your favorite team from the press box, nevermind putting on the headset and calling the game. A great big kudos to the RDS team as well as the other corporations that contributed to the evening. While I fully understand that the kids' cancer was not cured last night, but for a few hours they were able to put their disease at the back of their minds.

I walked past a restaurant yesterday that had a sign in the window that said, "Lobster Tail and Beer." I went in, since I enjoy all three.

Ya, I though that was pretty classy. And Montreal scored the second goal with him calling the game. I guess it makes you realize...it's just a game.
i never got to see the game , or hear it either but i bet it was a thrill for those kids . as a survivor my self you are right , you take every moment you can to help you forget about it , even if its only for a few hours.

I watched and listened to the game highlights on NHL.com this morning, and I'm thinking "Who is this announcer?". He seemed to have a blast. Kudos to RDS for a classy act.
