zednik has been a REAL disappointment this year...not even 30 points yet...iu dont even think he has 20....

I meant to ask that last night ,but forgot. I didn't know if he was injured or a healthy scratch. I guess now I know. But why bother skating in the warm-up? I wonder if perhaps he was testing an injury and deemed it too risky to play?

This certainly isn't the Zed of old, He used to battle for every loose puck along the boards and hustle. Go to the net and take a beating to score. Now it seems like he just doesn't care.

I read a stat off another board, now I don't know how much truth there is to it, but they said that the habs were somehting like 9-1 when Zednik sat out.

Yeah, I noticed that he wasn't in the lineup. But I didn't miss him on the ice at all. Sad to see Zeds not contributing like he used to. I hope he gets it back and maybe sitting out a night will inspire him.

I'm a big Zeddy fan too, but he has been a phantom this year. He has never been a prolific scorer, but he at least used to make things happen. Maybe it's time we deal him? I know that there has been interest from other clubs.
