I read over on Yahoo Sports that the Penguins are going to be finishing this season with three alternate captains. However, next year, it was Crosby who was in the front running to become the new captain. I know the guy is their 'markee player" so to speak, but to Captain an NHL team at 19 isn't right.

Well, Thornton did it in Boston, and Lecavalier did in T.B. and to be honest, Crosby shows more emotion and leadership then both of these guys did for there team, i don't think age has anything to do with it to be honest, if he speaks up in the dressing room and is a good influence on his team then why not.....just my opinion tho.
