How good is Tomas Plekanec???

...anyone else think linemates like Ryder and Higgins (or Latendresse next season) might potentially elevate this guy to top scoring line status???

...afterall, didn't the kid win the MYP in the AHL a few years ago???

And-o digs his shot...and he is pretty slick with the puck as well.

I'm with you on him man, he's skilled, great with the puck and has a great shot, we have to find him the right linemates like you pointed out, then he'll be noticed more throughout the league.

Hes got good hands, speed, vision and he can kill penalties too.  Plakanec and Higgins are ready for a more permanent role.  These two plus a physical forward with some size would be a pretty deadly 3rd line right now.

Plekanec is a the best thing going.  I thought the same thing, that he'd be great with Ryder and Higgins.  He can play defense and can score.  He doesn't seem to quit ever.  For sure a 2nd liner or better.

I really like Plekanec too. I love his work ethic, his positive attitude, his skating, his strength for such a small guy, his playmaking, and his quick release. Actually, he reminds me a lot of a young Koivu.

That must be why And-o loves him so much!
