No doubt about it, these guys need to seriously pick-it-up!

Since this road-trip began, these three have looked tired, disinterested and just plain lazy for much of the time!

They don't fore-check...and they sure as heck don't back-check...they have been soft on the puck...tentative in the neutral zone...and just down right average all around.

They got much less ice-time last night. That line doesn't really strike much fear into opposing players, does it?

No and as I said in another post it needs to for the habs to have success. WHOMEVER is on that line. Last night Hitch did not even bother trying to match lines..I only saw him switch his line pattern up twice and that was to cover the Bullis line (who would have thunk it?). We need to have one line that the other teams worry about and then hope that the other lines contribute.

And-o didn't intend to single-out Saku, although his play lately speaks volumes...but I just don't see any spark at all from any one of them.

Other teams are supposed to fear your top line and work to avoid them like the plague...but it seems Gainey is having to try and mix-and-match them with opponents too much.

...no way can ANY team win consistently (especially on the road) without a legitimate number one line!
