My two cents worth: I think the only reason theo got the starts he did in the past week was because gainey was hoping he would come up with a half decent performance so he would be easier to deal. But that backed fired badlly, who wants a goalie that is 29th or 30th in the league in save percentage,,, now my numbers may be off a bit but I think its close enough.I know I sound like im against theo but it seems to me he has had his time as a hab and know must go just like some of the other great habs did. I hear everyone say oh what are we going to do about goaltending look back to the past people ,Patrick Roy was a backup goalie at one time.... and theo was a backup to him at one time they all have to start some where and we have some good prospects such as Danis.hope I didnt piss to many people off with the theo bashing.Later all

Although, look at Brodeur and Luongo, who have been stellar since they found their form. It took them just over 1/2 a season in the new NHL to do so. Hopefully, Theo isn't far behind.

So how much of a leash do you give him?  I wouldn't start him for the next 2 or 3 games and try roll up some wins in the meantime with goalies who are actually stopping pucks.  I especially wouldn't start him against a team like Ottawa who could further embarass him right out of town.  Wait until we get back to the Bell Centre, against a semi-crappy team.

24: I guess a lot of it depends on how he responds in practice over the next few days. He should definitely not start tonight. The team needs to use every advantage to build off of last night's Big Mo'.

Maybe Theo should start in To on Saturday night. Biggest rival, Sat. night, unfriendly turf -- it would be a real test of character. Not to mention that, at a home game, the Mtl. fan might really jump down Theo's throat if he lets in a softy.

It is almost a given he will get booed in Montreal.  Does anyone remember Roy getting booed?  I know I sure do, and if we could boo Sir Patrick, we can boo anyone.

They are going to have to slot him in sometime and it may not be pretty any way you look at it.  He WILL have to have a good game or he slinks further into the abyss.

Remember Theo was never comparible to Brodeur or Luongo!
