Hey, heres something you all might like...... On March 30th im going to the Habs vs Caps game front row behind the bench i believe in montreal. ( if not behind the bench its the penalty box ) IF Theo doesnt step up his game, i will personally make a HUGE sign that will GUARENTEEE i get on sports center, with a Theo bashing phrase on it. Something that will hopefully get the attention of Gainey, or Theo ....the Cameras...one of those....or all three...i just want to prove a point from this board... maybe one of those

"MVP/HART" Calibre goalie- 5 million dollars

Tickets to habs game- $90

Gas Money- $40

Beer and a pizza- $10

watching the most over-paid player in the NHL let in 5 goals on 10 shots.... Priceless

Theo's brother was at my old work (BMW on the west island), where we get alot of NHL'ers for some reason, and he said that theo was supposed to be traded today, but at the last second it didn't go through. I dunno if his bro was bsing or not, cause when I called around, some people hadn't even heard of it.

Either way, I dunno if that poster would have the same effect if did if you went to the next home game. But its a funny thing to do

It would be worth it just to see you on TV. You might have to use fewer words "Seeing overpaid goalie give up 5 goals, pricelss" or something. But, I think it would be hilarious.

Sounds good to me, Johab!  You might want to be wearing your goalie mask when you hold up the sign...............

I think the trade fell through when Ron Artest decided he'd rather not play at all than play in Montreal for a losing team.

There is actually a little Pizzaria just down the street from Concordia, away from McGill, where I think you could score that combo for that price.  Been a few years since I've been there though...

Johab, much as I agree with you on the Theo thing, I couldn't bring myself to hold up such a poster - especially in Montreal.  I feel bad enough for the kid.

Have fun at the game!  Hopefully more fun than Normie and I had in Vancouver

if your afraid of fans being upset, habgirl, im pretty sure most of montreal and their entire fan base are pissed at Theo right now. If anything id be getting cheers. Heck, i could follow Edmontons approach and hold up a black and white sign saying GOT GOALTENDING? When was the last time you remember Montreal chanting THEO THEO THEO?....been a while...yet Yann Danis and Huet have BOTH had cheers this year, mainly because it isnt expected as much from them to play well, but still. Theo has been sub-par most of the season...and lately ..lets just not go there. Im HOPING theo gets the start tonight! Now, DONT freak out...but starting huet wouldnt be a  good move, if theo is going to be our goalie he needs to be shown the team has confidence in him...one of those things we need to fix. Starting Huet will make theo feel even worse and make problems worse. I REALLY think its would be unlikely Theo has 3 consecutive games like the 2 previous. All in all...i just want the team to start winning again...isnt TOO much to ask...is it?

Just want to know what peeps think...

If Theo tanks it tonight, would you people have seen enough for a while?  Enough to let Huet or Danis pick up the next 10 games or so??

If this were his first bad stretch of the season, I would agree with you 100%.  However, this isn't his first slide this year.  The team has lost confidence in him.  I say give him a chance to sit down for 4 or 5 games, telling him all the while that "Yes Jose, you are still the #1 goalie on this team.  You will get your spot back, we just need you to get your head in the game."  Huet may not be a great goalie, but, he is playing better than Theodore, therefore, Theodore needs to work on "fixing" himself (hopefully with the help of Rollie the Goalie) before he totally self destructs.  IMHO
