The players on the team need to fix this themselves. Whatever it takes, go to dinner, have a meeting, stay in a hotel, leave your wives, whatever, just get it together and start playing as a team.

Saku and Rivet. Great And-o lets get rid of potentially our only two consistent performers. HELLO, once again you missed the boat. Its Ribero who messed this team up!!!! People ( like dam fools), thought we had a ligit second line center, but instead we had "gangsta" whose "pretty sly for a white guy"....

Ribero and Theo. Sittin' in a tree K-i-s-s-i-n-g. Get rid of these two love birds with their mowhawks and stetson man commercials and we might be ok!!

Muller- I think you are missing And-O's point here. This team needs a MAJOR shakeup and it may require getting rid of one of your best players or 2. Ribiero does not have a huge influence on this team. In fact it looks like most of his teamates just ignore him. This team is in desperate mode right now and I suspect we had all better brace for it. There are huge changes needed and coming.

Who could ever have imagined that we would be here half way through the season. I do not think we will be in the playoffs this year either. Something needs to be done and fast.

The problem also is our so called core players are losing value by the game! Since Gainey has taken over I can't tell Saks and Ribs apart! Did they trade sweaters?

Typical. Go one post without pointing your finger at Ribs and your credibility would increase substantially. Until then, you just end up sounding like a bitter ex-gf. Always rehashing the same issue.

Ribs isn't THAT important, as Barry pointed out. He floats around with limited ice time now. He's about as relevent as the Green Party is in the Federal elections.

But I do hope he is traded just so that when Montreal keeps sucking despite not having Ribs, you'll have to find another scapegoat.

You would think Ribs has the most influence on the Habs by Muller's posts! Maybe we should give him the "c"!

It's like Ribs is putting the puck in his own net.

Get over it Muller!!! The TEAM is in deep deep crap right now...i don't think i necessarily agree with the notion of trading Koivu but yes.....something major needs to be done...Even if it means losing Ribeiro. Maybe then i dont have to read about what the hell Mike is wearing off the ice in pretty much every single one of your posts.

Zednik........where is he going on the ice half the time? Did anyone notice him just standing infront of Theo on one of the many goals scored tonight? Just standing there with a big fat DUHHHHH on his face...i mean where is this guy's passion? fire? where's the Zed we used to know?

The RDS guys made an interesting (albeit not novel) point. Zednick is supposed to be a sniper. Let his co-forwards break into the offensive zone instead of Z, who likes to carry the puck with one hand on his stick -- and then turn it over. They also questioned his positioning. Particularly one sequence where Kovy was stickhandling behind Carolina's net. Zed was out there looking lost instead of giving Kovy an outlet pass or otherwise helping create some space.

Everyone knows that Habs roster needs big changes. Locker room atmosprere is too infected that one Aaron doesnīt fix that, so here it goes.

Forward said granny in snowdrift. I say that BG should trade both Saks and Ribs away along Theo, Bonk, Streit and Sunny. This isnīt easy I know and it might even be impossible, But here is my proposal

Koivu and rights to Halak or Heino-Lindbeg(or something like that) to Minnesota for Roloson or Fernandez

And rest BG should lose different locations for one solid D-man, one decent playmaker who has more heart than Ribs and more leadership than Saks and is bigger than both of these and maybe 3rd or 4th round pick. This should create more space to cap thinking about next season and would help with locker room atmosphere. I know this isnīt manager game so this might be impossible, but I like the idea.

a trade will fix this ,but for who and who will take what we have to offer,i like the way habs look on paper,so do the pens!!the defence is playing really bad, theo has gave up bad goals, but the d is not clearing the zone, the stand in the crease looking at the puck like they never saw one before.lets clean house, but i think theo will shine somewhere else ,lets not forget what happenes when we trade goalies ROY and GARON

Credibility? What are you a politician? See, I don't flip flop. I stand firm on a position. Which by the way, has been the correct position even when Ribby was dancing around as the habs leading point man. I said he sucked even then!!

You are correct, Ribero has No influence on this Team NOW. But the guy was supposed to be our second line center and because of how useless he is...this helped send the team into a tailspin. Ribs,Theo and his band of back street boys.

Ultimately, in any other city, Ribero would have been nothing more than a blip on the radar. Hey Montreal...the 70's are long gone!!! How about some good western boys in there!!

Pablo, I have been a habs fan for many many years. Can't recall any player in the history of watching the habs that is as annoying as Ribero. I had gone 30+ years without having a "scapegoat". I don't need a "scapegoat". I just feel much of the habs current problems originate from Ribero. If you are frustrated because your hero has embarassed you, it's OK to use me to get your anger out.

I don't think I lack credibility because I have strong feelings about Ribero and voice them often( I said strong feelings ABOUT, Not FOR Ribero).
