Obviously Gainey does. The moves that Gainey has made in the last week only further my argument that Julien was being told who to play and who not to play.

 Trust Gainey on this one! He has built Dallas and is very wise! He reallizes that Bonk is our biggest and most talented centerman thus is using him the most! Remember Gainey is a great technical coach just as he is a sound GM who always makes the right moves! Remember he's very patient so give him at several more years before judging who he is giving the most ice time to! At this rate, he is only another 20 yrs away from bringing the Habs the CUP! At that time he'll of brought Madano, Hull and Zubov out of retirement to accomplish this great fete!


 He needs to stick to his long term goals and that is with Theo, kovy and Bonk!


 Trust him.................no one else does!

I've been on this one for a while not...Bonk is the player that I love to hate!!!!  I can't believe there are people on this site who still try to stay positive with this guy.  Get it into your heads....BG is not getting anything out of Bonk because there was nothing there to begin with...thats it!  He is slow, lazy, soft, has terrible hands and does NOTHING! 


Ottawa knew what they were doing - you didn't know he was this bad because he just hid behind all of the talent there.  Might as well buy out his contract because he is taking up valuable ice time that a rookie could use. 


Online petition to send Bonk to Hamilton anyone?!!!!!

Waive that deadbeat !! What a TERRIBLE trade. Garon is 21-11 right now. Granted, he does play on a team that actually T-R-I-E-S....

Ahhh John!  Bonk is supposed to be just the 3rd line centre...remember????!!!!  And of course he is worth that.


...the question is...is Saku "worth" the number one spot!


Remember when even questioning Saku was the ultimate sin???  How times ARE CHANGING!!!


(Are you REALLY going to be surprised if Saku is moved...or let go???)

i remember when they traded for him,giving up Garon??but alot of hab fans thought he was going to be "the second coming" boy were they wrong. i think LAFLEUR can still get at least 10 goals in the new NHL!!!!!!!!!

Only one "fan" thought he was any good, poor 'ol and-o, still hoping for a turnaround for his big #1 center.

I understand he has been taking care of himself lately.  He's down to three packs a day.  And with the Viagara, no question about whether or not he can get up for a game.

AT the time, it seemed like a bright trade, although I stated that I would rather have kept Garon. But, the general feeling was that it was a good move (at the time). Now, it looks like what it is and that's terrible indeed. Maybe he can be traded for a draft pick or a mid defender? I'm sure there are teams that would take him (if we pay 1/2 his salary). But, I still think he's just on the cusp. I dunno, maybe wishful thinking but I feel like he can be whipped into shape. He's gotta wanna do it, though.

(And don't let And-o hijack this thread. That's bad board ettiquette.)
