Like alot of us on this board said the problem is not with the coach but with the locker room.  I have heard comments from Theo in the media stating "If they want to trade me go ahead".  That is a sign of a ego the size of a football field.  Theo has no desire to play well at all and we have to play him in order use him as trade bait.  What a move it would have been to trade Theo instead of Garon.  We would have been looking good right now.

BG is in a tough position - play Theo and not make the playoffs or play Huet and try to make the playoffs.  We are in for some tough times ahead of us.  If it keeps going on like this we better get ready to pull out the golf clubs.   These are games in hand that we need to get some points.

Actually you would be suirpised. I spoke with CJ after the first period last night. He was in the lazy boy having a couple Molsons and watching the slaughter. This guy still cares for this team and the players like you would not believe and he was really upset last night at the effort. He was sincere in his press conference when he said he wants this team to succeed. Now that the dust has settled he realizes more than ever that the change had to be made so that Gainey can fix it. He tried to fix it but could not.

Thanks for the insight Barry - can always count on you for commentary.  I know CJ still cares a lot about the team and that is good to see - I would like to see CJ back in the organization in some format one day.  We need guys like him in the organization that show alot of pride for the CH.

Good points! Did you see my "pardon my rant" post? I totally agree!
