At this point in time, based on the standings and the performances of the teams ahead of the Habs, it would appear at best the team could hope for is a 7th or 8th seeding. New Jersey seems to have put things together, and Atlanta which has always had great offense now seems to be getting better than adequate defence, look like they will makethe playoffs. That leaves Tampa, Toronto, and the Habs fighting it out for the last seed. The Canadiens could go along way to helping themselves by winning their two head to head games against Tampa, and perhaps winning 3 out of their remaining 4 against Toronto.
With the existing talent on this team, can the Canadiens put some sort of winning streak together? To accomplish that, it is imperative Theodore gets really hot, an event I think is not likely.
When I first opened this post the number of replies to it was zero, which is, I am afraid, the chances that this current team, with the apparent lack of desire, gets into the tournament.
And the Patriots not playing tomorrow sucks. I am in a shi++y mood.

Pretty good analysis, wright. We'll have to give extra attention to the Tampa & Toronto games.
