Now that BG is behind the bench, he will be in the best position to review the talent of the individuals and the team as a whole (which includes leadership and how they behave in the dressing room) and make the changes as he sees fit. So basically the players will be under the microscope till the end of the season. Begining next season G. Carboneau will be behind the bench, so I defintely envision some changes in the future. Which i hopes they address the leadership (or lack there of), this has plagued the Habs since S. Koivu has worn the C.
I don't think that Koivu needs to go anywhere, or that he is the problem here at all. Just because you don't wear the C doesn't mean that you have no leadership responsibility. With so many young guys on the team its up to everyone with league experience to step up and command some respect and show leadership. No good team count's on one guy for everything. He is a class act and always has been, He has bounced back from every injury (and illness) and is still the arguably the team's best player. What more could you want from a captain... he can't do it all.
