Habs were making a surge, could have had a goal right after Kovalev's if Zednik had been a been more to the center, but oh well. What was really frustrating was the confusiion at the last minute of play in the Habs zone :(
That was because everyone's favourite, Ribs, kept getting the puck and panicking. He must have given it away 3 times. The boy knows where to stand for the puck to come to him, but I wish he would get involved, take the hit and get that puck out of the zone. Also, more than once he could have stood in front of an onrushing forward during that game, but instead got out of the way so they could bear down on the D. Nice. I am sure they will send him a thank you card for that.

P.S. Hey Brook, think you could come up with a good designer thank you card? :)
This is just it with Ribeiro. When the pucks aren't going in, he offers nothing, and actually hurts the team.
He's definitely picked up his play of late, but still needs to have the coach ride him for this stuff. It's laughable that people get on Koivu's back for "skating through water", but then support Ribeiro through thick and thin. This guy has the talent but still needs more guts, bulk, hockey sense outside the offensive zone, and skating practice.

Totally agree with you Jay, it was so frustrating watching that last 2 minutes. At times a few players just gave up. Passes by Ribs and Ryder were terrible, just get the puck deep in their end for crying out loud. That issue will need work done on. Some credit should be given to the Flames though especially Iginla ragging the puck against 3 habs to kill some time. but really frustrating in the end.
