Hi Alex -- So far in the NHL, who has been the player you played against who has most impressed you?

Alexander Ovechkin
Peter Forsberg, because he is one of the best passers I've ever seen and he's so good. Scott Hannan from San Jose and Andrei Markov from Montreal are the toughest defenders I've had to play against.

What is your favourite city on the road?

Alexander Ovechkin
Montreal has been my favorite so far. New York is good too.

Nice to bad Markov is out for awhile. He's the only guy who can move the puck back there.

Montreal has been using Streit as much as possible because, in spite of his faults, he is the only guy besides Markov with any wheels.

What about Beef.  I think he also has a good set of wheels and I think one on one, he is tough to get around.

I agree; I think the Cube has great wheels.  I kept meaning to bring this up with Barry, who doesn't seem to think he's a good skater.

Streit may have wheels, but he's a complete train wreck defensively, which is what I'm sure you're referring to as his "faults." Maybe with some more NHL experience he'll get better in his own end and around his own net, but I'd like to see him get a rear-view mirror to go with those wheels so that he can see all the guys right behind him in the slot who are about to bury one while his attention is elsewhere.

Yeah, and Dandenault too, he's a good skater. Wheels aren't really the problem in Montreal. It's quick and smart decision-making, vision, passing skills, size and guts.

For anyone that doesn't like euro-players on the habs - imagine a PP with Markov and Ovechkin on it...
