Claude has received 3 coaching inquiries. I am not at liberty to say where however. Geesh I hope he does not end up in Toronto or Beantown lol

I'm not asking you to answer directly, Barry, but I heard that NJ isn't filling the coaching position because they are waiting for Burns to give them a definitive decesion as to whether he is coming back or not (I don't have any sources, I heard it on TSN or the Fan 590).  I wonder if that is the sort of situation that CJ would be looking for?

He is only looking for stability and a long term (3 year) contract. He is still being paid by Montreal until he accepts another job so has the luxury of waiting a bit. I do know he wants to be  ahead coach in the NHL and he wants to b ethere long enough to have some stability and build a team. I can tell you that one offer was a Junior team

I've looked it up and although he's been fired bye the Habs, he's still behing paid bye the habs and would need the Habs permission to talk to him.

Now, do you really think the Canadiens would allow the leafs to get him??? not likely

Under contract for another year or until he accepts a coaching position elsewhere. I called for him today but Karen (his wife) tells me he was out walking with the baby. Strange irony eh? He babysat 20 guys this year and is now unemployed and still babysitting lol
