"I was challenging," Theodore said. "I was in good position, so every shot was pretty much hitting me in the middle.
"So it seemed like it was easier." "

Maybe that's why Theo seems not to have many hard shots to stop these past two games. When a goalie is good at positional play, especially playing the angles, the pucks hit them rather than them having to move to stop the pucks. Right, barrry/Johab?
I for one will be happy to see Theodore look quite normal while allowing no more than two goals every game! Funny, however, how Theo has a new style or attitude (for lack of better words) when the goalie coach was not changed.

............maybe his attidude is better , but the one goal was pretty soft ,,and two shots trickled through , plus one or two posts and it could have been a different game , the Habs were outshot by a good margin ...but we won ..so
They did hit the post, and late in the game he did make a few good saves. If any had gone in the game would have had a different outcome but Ill take the 2 pts, lord knows we need em

What will be hard for CJ to swallow is that he and Theo go back to their Junior days in Hull when they won a Mem Cup. This year Claude stuck with Theo through all the rough stretches because he is a very loyal coach. Why. after all these opportunities, does he all of a sudden "have a new attitude"? Maybe for the same reason that Bonk and Ribiero do. Job security.

Right after posting my starting post, I thought of this i.e. job security. I guess being coach and GM at once has a "scare factor" that motivates players to another level. I hope this scare factor stays there after Carb-o takes over.............

If that 2nd shot that beat Theo 5-hole would have trickled in can you imagine the reactions? That would have made it 4-3 with like 5 minutes left and that would have been 2 greasy 5-hole goals in about 5 minutes. Someone must be looking over him right now (i.e. Jesus, Allah, Buddha, M. Richard....).
Keep prayin', Theo!!!!!
On another note, I haven't seen that many blocked shots (or Habs taking to the ice) since the cup run of 1993.
