 Jarvis has been in the system for a longer time than Carb as far as coaching! Is he being hung out to dry? He must of thought he paid his dues then here comes Carb!

I agree actually. Jarvis would have been my (and CJ's) choice. He has coached in the system in Hamilton and knows the kids. This was purely a political appointment by Gainey and that is sports. Not that carbo i snot qualified. Time will be the judge of that. But I feel that Carbo was an easier sell for Gainey when he canned Julien because, for the most part, the fans and mediea liked CJ and supported him.

This may not work in Jarvis' favour.  When doing a house-cleaning, it sometimes works better to bring in someone with no preconceived biases.

Could be..some guys  have made a pretty good career out of being an assistant. We seem to have alot of part time players so why not a part-time coach?
