Where's Malakhov on the list? Or is he officially classified as a skier?

Also, Squirts McPantless, with his unfortunate bouts of incontinance during the 1942 toilet paper shortage...

Been waiting for someone to start this topic?

John Kordic gets my vote.

Thats what you get with a team with a long history and some relatively lean years recently.  Just some funny names from the past - who didn't do much.

It would be hard not to give the award to John Kordic (R.I.P.).

Could you guys please stop discussing the most embarassing Habs ever?  Just because some guys were an embarasment to the red, white and blue you shouldn't you shouldn't bring up the past.

Yours Truly,

Steve Penny & Benoit Brunet.

Benoit Brunet?!  I protest!  He's one of my all-time favourites - yes, he spent a lot of time on the DL, but he was a fierce competitor, great defensively and could also contribute offensively.  He once scored a highlight-reel goal that I will remember forever.  I forget the team, but he went through everyone twice and deked the goalie out of his jockstrap.

Please remove him from your "embarassing" list immediately!

yeah, I couldn't agree more - BB is a stud Hab for sure ... Too bad he was such a waif he'd get injured lacing his skates up before games though....

Sergio Momesso- completely disagree with also, solely because of his GREAT name ! (and, rumour has it he cooked spaghetti for the boys every sunday night - a huge catalyst in the '86 cup victory!)

Love the passion!

The only reason I included BB is because he melted in obscurity after the Habs...talk about undersized!

Sergio made it only because of the superb name!  I think he may have been Italian????

No, just as a joke since there was ribs bashing but no saks bashing on this thread, and it seems so unlike the board not to have both, so...

Here are a few from recent memory:

Ed Ronan                      Mick Vukota

Marko Kiprusoff             Andre Bashkirov

Rory Fitzpatrick             Dave Morrisette

Serge Roberge             Scott Lachance

Christian Laflamme       Gordie Dwyer (apologies to New Brunswickers everywhere)

Jim Cummins                  Reid Simpson

But the all-time worst has to be the lamented Patrick Traverse!

I have read Kordic's book.  Pretty powerful stuff.  Anyone who's contemplating doing hard drugs but hasn't started yet should read the book.  That would cure them before they start.

Or just seek some help at the clinic on the way to the bookstore...

  Nobody mentioned Claude Lemieux.

Does anybody remember him rolling around on the ice like he'd been shot.  Then he'd pop up crying for a penalty.  Got so bad that Burns wouldn't send the trainer out.
