Let's just say that Ottawa knew what they were doing when they got rid of Bonkers. This guy is slow as mol"ass"es. He would have been ok for the old NHL but BG didn't know what was coming when he brought him over.

Actually Bob knew what was coming John. The "New NHL" concept has been in the works from the time that Bob was in Dallas and all GM's knew that once the dispute was settled that this was going to be the way. As Bob Mackenzie stated, Gainey simply blew that one. It happens. We will call that one a mulligan.

If we were allowed a mulligan, Bonk would be gone and we'd have Garon back!
