NOBODY wins the Hart Trophy...NOBODY...as a fluke...or as a "one hit wonder"!


This kid has had one of the most stressful jobs in all pro-sports...and he has faced some serious personal/family issues...and he is adjusting to some MAJOR rule changes, which is impacting his style!


And-o is first in line to rag on him regarding his absolutely sub-par performances...but this guy will be a number one goalie in the NHL for AT LEAST another 8-to-10 seasons...maybe not in Montreal mind you...but a number one goalie never-the-less!


(The question is however...is he tradebait???  And-o says YES - but only for another elite NHL'er...or a combination of 2nd and 3rd liners and draft choices)


...as you all know full well - And-o thinks that Saku Koivu would (and likely will) wear another uniform LOONNNNGGGGG before Jose Theodore SHOULD - although make me an offer!

I have said it before, the kid has the talent to play in the NHL at an elite level. But I truly believe that a change of scenery will be a huge benefit to him IMO

Agreed And-O.  I would really hate to see a change of address for Jose, only for him to stand on his head for someone else!  Souray, Ribs, Komi, anyone but Theo.


I did hear a three-way rumour that made me go "hmm" though - Theo to Vancouver, Bert to Anaheim and Giggy to Montreal.  Doesn't help us up front though...so I think it is probably bunk.

I spent almost 300 bucks on a Theo All-star jersey, so I sure as hell don't want him gone!

And to get Giggy? NO thanks, frank, I'd rather give him his whole contract in the hope he gets it back.

 Theo has been overrated and inconsistent through out his career! Had one solid second half when he won the Heart! Has he been above average since?...sometimes.


 He is not in the same class as Roy, Brodeur, Joseph, Hasek, Luongo, young Fuery and many others that have or are playing in his era! That makes him good, not great!


 Can he be replaced?....yes sir!
