Milbury steps down as GM when a replacement is found! Finally!

While I hope that Gainey makes a trade already, I also note that it will be a well thought out one as Gainey won't be rash! Sure Gainey isn't perfect but better than most!

Milbury gave up on young talent too early!

Sure Gainey gave up on Ward, Hainsey and Hossa but he is confident they won't add up to much in his big picture!

The Hossa move wasn't great, but Hainsy and Ward were given lots of time to develop and they didn't make the most of their chances.  I wouldn't count on those two making a big impact.

I'm sure Gainey has something up his sleeve, but if they lose again to a hot SJ team (and their chances DO NOT look great the way they are playing), then something has to be done to shake up the line-up ASAP.

I would argue that Hossa had tons of chances and didn't deliver.  I would have given up on him too - and he hasn't exactlt burned the house down in New York either............
