Well if he has to be somewhere else beating someone else those are the guys to beat.I see poor Raycroft as just another goalie the bruins will kill like Jim Carey and to many more to name. The Thorton trade looks to be even dumber than the Roy debacle.

I'm trying to recall, did they also fire the coach yet?
Trading an elete player like Thornton or Roy will always have a negative effect on the team! You just can't win those trades because those players don't come around very often! They play such a big factor on wins or losses! Sharks are now winning regularily while Boston is still tanking!
The coach of the bruins is still there but for how long is a shaky subject. The boston fans are ready to hang someone from the rafters. Poor Raycroft wouldn't even sit on the bench when he was pulled after 6 goals last nite he stood in the runway talking to himself with his mask still on.As much as I despise all boston teams I still felt bad for Raycroft the newest sophmore flop.
Screw Raycroft. He had the audacity to ALMOST beat the Canadiens in 2004 (in his rookie year!!!!)...but they stormed back, down 3 games to 1.
If Joe Thornton can ever do anything in the play-offs then I will call him an elite player...BUT I guess he has really only played the Habs and lost twice, so it is understandable.
Boston's problem is in 2004-2005 they loaded up their team with big, slow bruisers but teams are ripping them apart now.
