How can it be that an open practice at the Bell Centre draws 19,000, but a similarly free one in Verdun brings in 10 or 20 fans (including one weird-o)? I know the rink is not quite the Bell Centre, but come on! You'd think the chance to get close to the Habs would draw a few thousand fans there. It must not have been public knowledge.
This makes no sense to me.

I remember when I was a kid, and we had a practice at the 4 Glaces in Brossard, and the habs were on the ice next to us. We left the ice, and we noticed huge ass guys take monster shots, we then saw the CH on the shirts. ANd we stayed there until they left the ice when it dawned on us that it was the habs.

Wow, my 10-year-old team at Upper Canada College in Toronto had more people show up to practice
