Has anyone got one of these McFarlane Don Cherry figures? Gotta get one before they run out... Also they make a heritage classic one with Jose in a tuque and some Oilers buffoon
McFarlane's website - http://www.spawntoys.com/ The Don Cherry one is available Feb 5th on Amazon.com for 9.95 (us) - still trying to find the heritage classic

Does the Heritage Classic one have a working red light behind Theo?
If you could post where he got the vintage one would be great, would be a nice piece for my games room. I've also been looking for and don't if he did a Guy Lafleur one. I know he has done other veteran players but haven't seen a Guy one yet! Any info would be great!

check amazon, they've got a good selection (through toys 'r' us) and ebay for anything else, they've always got everything. I got my Ed Belfour toilet brush there...
Don Cherry has had his own "Action Figure" - Quote from That 70's Show for at least a few years now made by his own company (the same one that does the hockey videos/DVDs etc.) this was just probably the first time Cherry has hooked up with Macfarland whose probably desperate for product/figures etc. to sell after the lawsuit he lost with ex-St. Louis Blues player Tony Twist which put MacFarlane into bankruptcy protection as well as forcing the closing of a specilized store in Phoenix dealing with Macfarlane products. Macfarlane used the name Twister/Twisterrone or something like that who was a so called evil or bad guy and Tony Twist took Macfarlane to court & won after Twist was already retired from hockey due to a motorcycle accident ?........

Tony Twist - the Tie Domi of the midwest, quite a character/bonehead. I thought it sucked that he took the court thing that far, as the comic book character name was meant to be a respectful tribute.
oh, and Mcfarlane designed the Oilers alt. logo, which I think is one of the best of the alt jerseys
