No, I would not want to see Andreychuk in a Habs uniform, I just find it very interesting the way teams are going about getting rid of players these days.
The method used by Tampa Bay management to try to shed Dave Andreychuk's $800,000 salary is a slap in the face to the veteran left winger.

Sportsnet.ca -- One day after the New Jersey Devils raised eyebrows throughout the hockey community by placing veteran forward Alexander Mogilny on waivers, word has leaked out of Tampa Bay that the Lightning are trying to unload Dave Andreychuk.
Sources tell Sportsnet Lightning general manager Jay Feaster sent a fax earlier this week to the 29 other NHL teams announcing the 42-year-old future Hall of Famer is available.
Andreychuk, who proudly captained the Lightning to a Stanley Cup Championship in 2004 is widely respected, yet the method used by Tampa Bay management to try to shed his $800,000 salary appears to be disrespectful.
In 40 games this season Andreychuk has scored six goals and added 12 assists, bringing his career totals to 640 goals, 698 assists and 1,338 points in 1637 games played.
When the Hamilton, Ont., native suited up against the Islanders on Monday, he surpassed Scott Stevens for fourth on the all-time list in games played, trailing only Gordie Howe, Mark Messier and Ron Francis. Andreychuk stands 94 games back of Francis.
Lightning management has chosen not to comment on Andreychuk's status at this point.
Meanwhile, Mogilny has cleared waivers, and New Jersey GM Lou Lamoriello said the Devils will now fully entertain all trade offers. They also have the ability to assign Mognilny at full NHL salary to Albany, the Devils AHL affiliate.

Wow! What a slap in the face to their C...I wouldn't want him either but now I think I've heard it all. I guess they figure there's enough leadership in Tampa?
