............Bob Gainey does not walk on water , at least not in the summer , the acquisition of Bonk has to rate up there with the worst moves Rejean Huel ever made .........


           as to the coach , well he has made some questionable decisions , however at the end of the day it's up to the players not only to perform , but also to police themselves ...


          in the final analysis it seems as though there may be some dressing room decension ....


..........on a posive note ....I really liked the line of Ferland , Begin and Murray ....anyone playing against that mob better keep his wits about him ......

Forum Fan, I apologize for referring to you as "Newbie" when I replied to your post.  These *&*^% trifocals crossed me up and I didn't see your handle.  Oh well.  One more prescription upgrade and my glasses will qualify for backup lenses for the Hubble telescope.

Well OK And-O, I'll bite. I think you often put Koivu down but in a manner that is rather subtle. Like " Koivu is all heart I hope he stays in a Montreal uniform...now is the time to trade him" Something like that.


The posts are drenched with hidden little gems aimed at Koivu, Often never using his name. I think most posters here pick up on these hidden gems even if you think they do not...Am I right JohnM, Barry33, plouf, Johab, DavidB etc??


It's OK however. And-O, your posts are some of the first I read. I find your posts entertaining. I know your thoughts on Koivu, you just don't have to dance around your thoughts like you do in some of your posts.


Like saying the team needs a new heart is akin to saying a "new leader"...which is Koivu. Am I right?:

hello ff , the bonk trade does look bad in hindsite but at the time it was a good move , if you were a general manager og a nhl team and were offered a centre who averaged 60 point for 5 seasons and a backup goalie for your backup goalie (thats what garon was here, never going to get a shot at number 1)you would have been a fool to turn it down . noone could have forseen jose being this bad or bonk being this bad either . they say hindsite is always 20-20 .

Unfortunately, I think "hindsite" now means that someone has his head up his a$$.  Exactly "who" does is for the board to decide.
