Who knows, eh?  Isn't the draft pick of Price making alot more sense now?  If Theo keeps falling, he'll be gone in the last year of that contract around the trade deadline to a deparate team looking to make a playoff splash.

Theo should have been signed to a proformance contract,he seems to try harder when he has to make a positive impression.

We are stuck with him ,I don't think Price would be prepared to take the load, maturity wise.We don't want to ruin him

Both good points. Especially the maturity part. Think back to the first couple of times you saw Theo play. "Wow, he's great. maybe he should play more" went up the cry, but he wasn't ready, and they were patient. If they see the future as a Price-Danis 1-2 punch, they need to keep the oven well fueled, 'cause that pie ain't near done yet!

I am concerned for Price.  he really needs to sort things out.  Making this year's Team Canada team would have been a start.   Mind you, i doubt he would have seen any action seeing that pogge is Sutter's man.  But what the heck is wrong with these kids, and yes they are kids, when price was at evaluation camp, and elects NOT to attend an optional skate.  it was his team to make!!!!

And things don't get better with pretty boy latendrese who seems to be paying to much attention to his modelling career and although he made Team Canada, he's been reserved to bench warmer.

When they picked Pogge ,I first thought it was just a homer pick.

Pogge hasn't seen alot of quality shots. To argue this look at Tuooka Rask Finlands goalkeep ,close to 100 shots,in two games.First 50 from sweden, no goals ,second 40+ from Canada with a result of 4 goals.

Rask looked like a star against Sweden ,but quality shots from Canada put a whole different spin on his ability.

Summary,Pogge doesn't face quality shots or that many shots.

I still say Pogge is a homer choice thats why Price wasn't picked aswell.

Price had to have a good reason for being a no show ,for the optional goalie skate.

On the bright side both Price and Latendresse are only 18 and would still be eligible for next years tournament.

Both goalies on Canada are 19 and would not be eligible.
