I have to say, it was depressing seeing how few people responded to Barry's decision to take a break.

This board has turned from friendly to nasty over the last couple of weeks. There's been too much of a rush by a couple of people to judge and criticize other members for having an opinion. Or for not fitting into the narrow definition of a fan that they believe is the only possible way to support this club. There's no place for personal attacks here. And none of us is nearly qualified enough to position themselves as the arbiter of the way we should be fans.

This is meant to be fun. It's rapidly becoming not so, so I think I'll join Barry for a while and bid you all a fond aloha!

Hopefully along the way things will sort themselves out
