1.  Playing Streit as a forward (just disgusting)...especially while Perezhogin sits!

2.  Ribs back-to-back extended shifts...soft play along the boards...telegraphed passes...brutal backcheck (who is going to want this kid when CJ is done with him?)

3.  Pierre Dagenais again...or is that STILL.

...what a wasted effort the Ottawa game looks like now!

It goes back to my Koivu post. We are woefully weak at the center ice position with Koivu healthy. We are horrible without him healthy. As for Perez, he is on the ice in the 3rd period and takes ANOTHER dumb penalty that resulted in the tying goal and turned the tide. I would sit him too. What needs to be decided is this. Does this team have teh talent to compete on a regular basis? If so, fire the coach and lets move on. If not, for Gods sake Gainey bring in some bodies who want to compete on a nightly basis.

Maybe CJ is trying the Striet in a different position similar to putting a puzzle together.A puzzle missing the piece we need.

Streit now has the minimum number of games in to satisfy his contract so that they do not have to compensate his Swiss Club. I do not expect him to be back in January.
