You may be right, 15 pts in 26 games (has missed 6 due to injury). Although, for the previous six seasons, he has played in no less than 73 games in a season including a year of 80 games, another of 81, and one of 82. This year appears to be an anomaly, with his injury.
Also, going back to those previous 6 years, he has had anywhere from 48 pts to as many as 81. He also has some pretty good playoff numbers.
I obviously have no idea what Anaheim is asking for in return, but it might be worthwhile to shake this team up a bit.

Lots of cup experience, +73 lifetime, pretty consistent overall, and still under 30! You might want to think twice about that.
But he'll end up a Ranger anyway, so the point is moot.
I say its a no-brainer for Montreal as long as the price isn't too steep. But if we're going to discuss this fellow's merits (and merits alone) then i say he could only help us...
