Think about 19.0% on the power play (which is where the habs were before last nights game). That's only 1 for 5(actually less for the accountants out there). Or, if one team puts together 1 good game of powerplays and go 4 for 8, they could be 0 for twelve in the next 3 games.
Detroit leads the league at 26.5%, but the next 10 teams are within about 3% of each other.
Edit: 19.0% is after last nights game, they are now in eighth spot.

Barry - surely you jest. Yes Johnny, I do jest, and stop calling me Shirley.
"Claude, Claude, you're wanted in the ref's room!"
"Why, what is it?"
"Well, it's the room where the refs decide who gets to make the most lopsided and boneheaded call of the night, but that's not important."

It really surprised me too because it seemed liked we were realy stinking it up. Imagine if we actually got it going? We might actually end out strech of bad losses. Oh, can't wait for 11+27 this Saturday.
And, Johab, it took me about a week to figure out that your avatar was Koivu and not some balding dude with a mullet. Seriously, it's still hard for me to see it right, like a magic viewer thing.
