I think it's time we clarify our views on certain characters in this movie we all like watching, so I'll start with CJ, and the question is: Do you think he's the man for the job? No reasons needed, just a yes or no. I'll tally at the end
He's a technically sound coach and brings good hockey knowledge to the team. Other coaches, etc... from around the league have alot of respect for him so that should mean something.
You know my answer. He is the man for the job. For a few reasons:
He has done alot with little with this team.
He has the patience which is needed for a young team. We may wish he played the young guys more but he and Bob have a plan for the kids and he sticks to it.
He has worked with most of these players in Hamilton. They are used to him and there is something to be said for consistency
He has class and represents the organization well

lol - this isn't the Iraqi elections - only one vote apiece
I think I can call this one a resounding show of support for CJ!

Yes to the poll question.
As to Vigneault ... not close to my favorite. The Habs didn't perform particularly well under him and he seemed to always make excuses at to why they lost by 1 goal.
It's hard to argue against the 16 win/8 loss stat. I'm just a little worried that he can't seem to get the team up for the start of a game and get them to commit to play hard for a solid 60 minutes (let's hope Tuesday's effort is a sign of things to come in those regards).
I can't think of anyone else out there at the moment who I would want to see coach the Habs instead of CJ, so . . .
