Canadiens winger Alexei Kovalev practiced with the team Monday for the first time since undergoing knee surgery. Kovalev says he will make the upcoming road trip with the Habs and is aiming to play Saturday vs. the Wild. - TSN
This is from TSN's "Ice Chips".

Finally, a little good news.

that is good news.....although it was a speedy recovery didn't it seem like months?????

hopefully he is ready to put this team on his back because that is what he will have to do until the rest of them can find their scoring touch

Let's hope he's ready when he comes back and not only cause the team is playing so poorly.

Limecat is not pleased with the Habs 75% loss ration in the last 12 games.  Time for an infusion and too bad we have to wait 2-3 more games.  Hopefully, by Saturday, Julien will have had heart-to-hearts with some players and things will be better.  Though, why wait for then.  It just seems that no one wants to step it up and give an effort.  Wow, what a mess we're in.  No panic, but seriously, things are getting a little scary.

of course it seemed like months  with all those losses, time kinda slowed to a crawl didn't it? i agree that it is good news, but can it put some heart back into the players again? or will he just go with the flow and give up like the others?
