Just kidding. I agree with you about the ownership. There's been nothing there to make me feel like I'm witnessing the pillage of my beloved franchise. As you say, the blocks are there. I think BG has an idea for the type of team he wants, but isn't going to make moves just to satisfy the chronically itchy. When he sees his piece, we will puzzle no more. I've got my money on a parade within 5 years. Although if my recurring nightmare comes true, I'll die of excitement during the 4th OT of game 7 against the 'Nucks

But if we act too patient, and never complain, this board's gonna get awful boring!

We got off to a much faster start then we had any business doing with what we have this year. The rest of the league has adjusted to us and we are no longer flying under the radar. This raised expectations to the point where many feel cheated the last couple of weeks. The injuries have shown that we are very thin in many areas and hopefully Gainey addreses that. We are woefully thin up front and have become a one line team (1/3 a line the last couple weeks)
