...and And-o expects to see some improvements REGARDLESS of who is dressed!

No reason at all for the PK not to be firing on all cylinders!!! Guys should be quicker out blocking the point blasts...and getting some more active sticks in the passing lanes!

Also, the PP needs a more common sense approach in my opinion! As in...someone get pucks to the net...and someone else get the jam necessary to stand in front of the net and shovel in a rebound!

...And-o also considers neutral zone coverage a "special team"...so it would be nice to see the forwards skating hard in BOTH directions!

Finally, all of the little issues that have plagued the Habs game should have a fix now after a week of practice. For example...guys like Bulis should have been absolutely hounded into HITTING THE NET more often and Ribs should NEVER get hemmed in the defensive zone after a looonnnnnnngggggggg shift.

I agree And-O. Without all our horses we need to get back to very basic and simple hockey, especially on the power play. Pound the puck at the net as much as possible and hope for the best. We do not have the guys tonite to make fancy plays and I hope that CJ got that message across this week. As for Bulis and Ribiero, I am sure they have been told about their shortcomings. Bottom line is that the coach cannot go out and play the game for them and he does not even have the luxury of sitting them to make his point at this stage. barry33 is positive that Ribs has been told about his defensive shortcomings  by every coach he had since he was in Atom. barry33 has noticed that Ribs does not seem to care.


barry33 feels that Ribiero would be a great fit on his twice weekly beer league team. As a goalie, barry33 has to go to the team Christmas party tonite so he can be introduced to his defencemen.

Well, atleast the D should be a little stronger with Markov and Komi back. If Souray can keep up the pace he had in the last game  we should be pretty good. Just get the Capt and Kovy back  you notice I did not mention Bonk????

No excuse if the special teams suck again. And I agree we need to keep it simple. I think the team was just plain worn out and desperate. Let's hope we come out flying.


About Bulis. Anyone notice his excellent European stats from last winter? Why in the heck can't he put it in the net here? A lot of other players score less points in Europe. Why does he score more?
